The very first virtual Dentistry Scotland Awards ran last night, with hundreds of people tuning in to see the winners.
Due to COVID-19, FMC was forced to find an alternative way of rewarding leading dental practices across Scotland. This year FMC brought the glitz and glamour of the ceremony to your screens.
The ceremony was completely accessible to all practices across Scotland. And it ensured attendees could attend the ceremony in November, but remain completely socially distanced.
‘This was a tough decision to take because we love rewarding the dental profession face to face at these events,’ Seb Evans, Dentistry Scotland Online editor, said.
‘We often hear stories about how proactive dental practices are, and we’ve taken inspiration from this. This is the first year we’ve moved the awards ceremony online and it was a tremendous success.’
